James P. Williams founded INTELLIQUEST in March 1990 in Anchorage, Alaska.

Its purpose was then, and still is, to provide investigation and security services to businesses, attorneys, and the private sector.

In November 1993, Mr. Williams relocated to Tucson, Arizona to open an office in the southwestern United States.

In August 1995 INTELLIQUEST of Arizona was incorporated as Desert Mecca, Inc. d.b.a. INTELLIQUEST Investigations and James Williams became President and Director of Investigations.

In June 2005 Intelliquest Investigations opened an office in Tempe, Arizona.  This office specializes in business investigations, background investigations, asset searches, locating witnesses and other individuals and runs our surveillance and undercover operations throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

INTELLIQUEST's research tools include direct linkup with nation-wide and world-wide computer databases and a key base of developed business and legal contacts on local, state, national and international levels.

INTELLIQUEST has the state of Arizona as its primary area of operations, but is capable of conducting investigations worldwide due to our extensive database network and our membership affiliation with investigators throughout the world.
